The initial CFI (Certified Flight Instructor) is based on single engine VFR (Visual Flight Rules) training. This allows you to work with students for Private, part of Instrument, and Commercial licenses. After 2 years and 200 hours of dual training given, you can begin to train other CFI candidates. CFII (Certified Flight Instructor Instrument) allows you to sign-off pilots for their Instrument Ratings. The MEI (Multi-Engine Instructor) allows you to sign-off students for their Multi-Engine Ratings.

| Each of these ratings can be achieved in a matter of 1 to 3 weeks. Completion time is dependent on your knowledge base and flight skill when you arrive at Cirrus Aviation. |
